Arrived at Taipei and it was raining! Rainy day = Cold cold weather, especially when our first day itinerary is to Jiu Fen, high altitude mountainous area in Taipei! Shall let the pictures do most talking - accumulated over 700 photos in the 5 days!
Raindrops in taiwan is really fine, you definitely wont get as wet as when you're in Singapore. But the winds at Taiwan ~woosh~ loving the 13dc temperatures!
Strong waves slamming the rocks
Lovely siblings!
Dramatic rock pushing shot with Dad
Family shot with the mist and clouds :D
OOTD - all bundled up for the cold weather!
Visited this Japanese themed cottage - historic homes
the tree behind me looks incredibly fake! But it's real and already over hundred years
Arrived at Jiu Fen :) Taro balls at Jiu Fen were so good, craving nowww.
Had intended to visit the Shi Fen waterfall, but the bridge was under construction so no waterfall for me :(
Off to Shifen/Pingxi to release Tian Deng!
On the bridge!
Had our late lunch at this restaurant that serves local Taiwan dishes (think: Wild vegetables, Kampong chickens etc)
After meal fruits shopping!! Their fruits all look so big and fresh I swear.
Time to head back to our hotel! We stayed in the middle of ximending, movie district!
Hotel B6. Settled down, rested, and then off we go for dinner/tour around xmd!
Ah Zong mee sua!

A long and tiring day one, down. But totally enjoyed myself I love outskirt areas!

After we had our stomachs filled, we walked to Sun-Yat Sen memorial hall that was pretty nearby!
With Taipei 101 as backdrop heehe
Next destination - Wu Fen pu!
Wholesale shopping done here :) But we didn't do much shopping throughout the whole trip. Focus is on exploring I guess!
Spent the night at Raohe Night Market!
And that night we tried... smelly tofu >< HAHA smelly indeed.
50 Lan - known as Koi in Singapore. The bubble tea didn't amaze me leh! I think I prefer Singapore's version of bbt :b

Basically Xiao Ren Guo had nothing much there, completed the whole place in approximately 2 hours? Quite a dead town actually! Took a bus ride back to Taipei
Went to SOGO and had our lunch there :)
After that we headed to Shilin Night Market for the night!
