Fever

Tossed in the bed for a good hour, the splitting headache is killing me and fever has shot up to 39.2 dC ohmygosh I don't wish to succumb to panadols again, spammed 6 in a day.

So it all started on monday night where my head hurt so much, slept really early but woke up in the middle of the night feeling like i'm on fire :( Naturally I texted R and whined about feeling so terrible and when he woke up he accompanied me through messages to make me feel better. Was an extremely bad day to fall ill because my Tuesdays are 10 hours long and the classes are non-skippable (what's more I have a test too).

Temperature fluctuated quite a bit, after taking in panadols it went down and I took 2 pills every 4 hours to suppress the fever. After 6 hours straight of lesson it was my breaktime and R suddenly text me to go to Central Forum :') He had brought fish soup noodles for me. He travelled all the way to school on his free day just because I'm sick :'') R even bought me eye drops because my eyes were dry and pain. And he had waited till my class ended at 8pm to go back home with me. Really really extremely touched, he makes me feel so incredibly blessed and I dare say my boyfriend is the sweetest one ever. He's forever surprising me and bringing me comfort whenever I'm not feeling well. He's always there for me - emotionally, physically. I'm really lucky to have him :) Recently my cramps caused me to lose sleep and after knowing, R specially bought Camomile Tea for me because he researched and that it helps in reducing cramps. Seriously such a caring and thoughtful boy, he always make me feel a lot better when I'm with him. :')

Being sick and vulnerable makes me feel doubly appreciative and I'm so thankful for his love :')

Our first monthsary! :)

I was a terrible girlfriend because it slipped my mind that 28th was the day we set as our anniversary date, and didn't realized it until the boyfriend wished me in the morning oopsie! :x but we had plans to visit Sentosa for the Redbull Flugtag!

Met R at bishan station and when he reached with a heart-shaped helium balloon and a stalk of pretty gerbera my heart totally melted :)) He's such a sweethearttt. The monorail into Sentosa had crazy ass long queue so we were advised to take the broadwalk into Sentosa! My first time entering through the broadwalk and it's actually quite near :) 

Really sunny day!! 

For some reason the balloon started to deflate gradually and so we tried to capture more photos with it before it fully retires,

Massive crowd at Siloso Beach, but many people were already leaving when we reached, possibly due to the blazing noon sun. 

After a while we hid under the pavilion and whipped out our shades ^^

Setting off to Palawan! :D

Crossed the bridge over to the southern most point of Singapore :) and chilled by the rocks and waves. Still really warm though, the weather. Had a shower after that and time for our lomantique dinner! :b 

Had our monthsary dinner @ TCC Millennia Walk. Loved the place because it's so empty hee :D yum tumz!

Was so full after dinner so time for a walk! Think the distance we've walked together in this one month is quite a huge number hehee. And we both agreed that it didn't feel like we've only been together for a month, haha! Probably because we spend so much time together :D Feels so lao :p

Sat along Singapore River till it was time to get home, spent a full 11 hours out with the boy heehe one of the best Sundays I've had in a while. :)

FQL

This friday was a public holiday - Selamat Hari Raya! It was also a day to celebrate Charmaine's 20th birthday!!

Travelled to her house in the morning to surprise her! It was perfect timing because we reached when she was in the shower, placed the hugeass photo frame of us on her bed and she noticed it immediately when she returned to her room :) So glad we managed to surprise her!! Had morning chats with pancakes and hot green tea before we set off to our next location!

Lunch was at Lawry's :) Think it's the first time I'm eating real steak - had the Singapore cut & I must say it's really good! Presentation wise it is really quite bad, but the quality of the steak made up for it, and the service was thumbs up! Sat in the restaurant and talked for a good 3 hours. And then it's the next surprise, Perks!!! Hehe made the birthday girl cry so much, but tears of joy :') Hee and all of us are 20 now, ^^ looking forward to many more birthdays together!

Talking out about things swung me into reflection mode and so many thoughts/feelings were felt. What's past is past, the present is the most important and I am incredibly blessed with someone who will always make me feel happiness. :') Hee and another person said that R and I have fu qi lian, makes me happy happy flying to the skies ^^

Zoomz it's week 10 of school - can't wait for sem to end! :) Survived the week and 3 assignments down, the best reward received was to meet R after the busiest monday & tuesday. Wednesday will forever be my favourite day :D

Took bus to Vivo after school and had ramen for lunch, craving satisfied! :9 hehehe. 

Took the monorail into Sentosa after lunch to complete our task-of-the-day : Buy USS ticket :D The sun was so hot and the ticketing queue was pretty long when we reached, so we decided to walk around and explore the area for a bit!

Spent the day exploring RWS quite a bit :) Walked to Palawan Beach too, camp memories :) the beach was really quite empty! Headed back to Vivo in the evening for some gong cha teehee, forgot to use NUStyle discount oops. 

Snapped a lot of random shots of R and having fun looking at them now hehehe :D we're going to Sentosa again this coming Sunday! The second half of the week is really awesome.

Kaylee

This is going to sound like a super kiddy post (all my childish side is oozing out recently) - but say hello to Kaylee! She's a really huggable koala bear soft toy with tiny eyes. I'm honestly not a girly kind of girl and soft toys have never really been much of an interest to me. But not long ago I had this weird urge to get a soft toy to sleep with and tadahhh R actually got me one :D I was still saying that koala bear resembles him hehe and indeed, whenever I see Kaylee it reminds me of him - those equally tiny eyes. So cute. She sits on my bed whole day and accompanies me to sleep every night.

I really feel like a child all over again :)

Collages

Downloaded a new photo collage maker app from the App store recently and I love how it frames up the pictures! :) Simple tiled up collage but there's actually a lot more to play with ^^ Did some simple ones:

R's 22nd birthday dinner @ Barossa! :) Simple meal at Holland V after our 8pm class/midterm exam were over! Wasn't expecting much because the reviews weren't exactly so good but the food turned out surprisingly tasty. They provided good service too because they managed to find me a candle to place on our dessert for R's birthday, so glad :) it was a lovely night spent.

Dimsum buffet @ Yumcha the next day - ate so much hehe we are the champions :D walked from Chinatown to Raffles Place to help our tummy feel less bloated and took a train to AMK for our first movie together! Caught Taken 2, it's a good show! But I guess Taken was better for me, after all the storyline is similar so the sequel was less exciting. Also took a long walk back home from AMK after that :) We're always talking long walks together, something I really enjoy! Love how we're similar in so many ways - especially the size of our eyes ^^ 

Gratitude

Celebrated my twentieth birthday with many of my loved ones,

received a surprise cake from my pau after my lecture :) and my first birthday cake was my favourite strawberry cake :) Amazing how some people just click so well with you, time is not the only measurement of good friendships! Thankful how our friendship continued after our unearthly 8am tutorial classes in yr1s1 - time flies and the friendship grew. Also received two letters from this girl, I really love letters/cards :)

Friday after the nussu appreciation dinner, Bizcom celebrated October babies' birthdays with lovely Obolo macaroons. Really appreciate how this group of people changed my uni life and made it a whole lot more exciting than it would be. Friendships forged here are also so precious :) Especially thankful to a special friend of mine, whom, despite the emotional turbulence still loves me so much. I am fortunate, and I will build our friendship up with time.

On the night of my birthday eve, I celebrated my birthday at nainai's house with many important people in my life. What was initially planned as a surprise failed, but the appreciation and love I have for my family is beyond words :') Received many blessings and joy in the celebration of my 20th, and it's then I truly felt old. Looking at the old pictures scattered around the house, I figured that turning 20 is a milestone of one's life - turning from teen to a young adult, girl to a lady. hoho, okay just feeling old and wiser now.

The night's surprise didn't end. I'm glad that I spent the moment when the clock strikes 12 into 7th October with R, a special boy in my life who have came all the way to my house to send me birthday well wishes and lots of love. The process of loving someone hasn't been the easiest, but I'm thankful to say that now, at least we are working at it together. :)

On the actual day of my birthday: had an awesome hi-tea lunch with jia ling, one of my closest friends since secondary school days. Zj also dropped by for a while to blow me some birthday kisses :) Visited Arteasetiq @ Mandarin Gallery, enjoyed two tiers of afternoon snacks and fragrant floral teas with good chats in betweens, life of tai-tais! Window-shopped at retail shops and tried on apparels and shoes, fun day out with this sweet girl ;)

Met up with Charmaine, Eunice, Huiyi in the evening and they proceeded to award me with eyebrow pencils, eyeliners etc perhaps to congratulate my entering of adulthood - ought to be time to smack on some beautifiers on my face :) The girls brought me to dempsey hill, my first time there! Pleasant environment at CM-PB where we dined at. Dinner was so good I was a satisfied girl feeling so loved by my friends who took time to spend my birthday together, thank you so much girls (:

Family love never ends :) went back home and saw presents and card from my family, endless and unconditional love indeed, from the family :)

Had a recent birthday celebration at Itacho with Nicolas, thankful for such a wonderful friendship that provides support when in need even though we don't meet up much :D The meal was so lovely, sushi at Itacho are awesome! Ended the day with an amazingly mind-blowing movie called Looper :) Looking at the sushi photos make me feel so blessed heheh.

Also very appreciative of all the birthday wishes I have received, especially those who sent me via texts and provided a platform for me to catch up with friends that seem to have drifted apart but still remain close at heart :)) I love every single one of you guys, all the wonderful people in my life :')

I have so many blogs it's been difficult to keep track, but hehe, I'm coming back over here again :3 i guess this is my most 'public' blog besides my tumblr - the others have been hidden, password locked, and records only certain phases of my life.

Hopefully this rosebudkisses@blogspot can take my outpour of emotions and retain more memories that I wish to keep for a long time.

Today is my birthday, :) Probably 20 years old signifies something new, I've been blessed with much love from people important in my life. Will be back to blog more about it. Thankful :)
