Turn it up

This year's CNY is almost coming to an end! And... zero gambling so far! How odd this annual gambling tradition has been broken because our group of cousins chose to play card games like saboteur and "san guo sa" over our usual banluck rounds! And so CNY was like an eating contest for me, a quest to finish up everything heh. My face is currently suffering the after effect of all the heaty food, pimples aplenty. jialat haha.

Spent CNY chu yi traveling all over Singapore, going to seven places in total, truly shagged by the end of the day. Guess all of us are old already, visiting has become a chore (worse for my father, need to drive us around). Afraid that the tradition of visiting will be gone by the time our generation comes, hopefully not. It's a special time of the year where you get to see your most distant relatives. Thankfully our chu er was really relaxing, just stayed at home the entire day and relatives came to visit!

Also went over to jialing's over the weekend and usual good spread of buffet food, can't even remember how many rounds I went for. :P played bridge and daidee with mulan 2 playing in the background heheh. simple chillaxing day. :)

went for a CAP 5 dinner at Holland V's Ewf on Thursday, ordered a battered fish sandwich which was pretty yums. Good chance to catch up with everyone too. Xm made all of us mini chocolate muffins and they were so so good, rich and melty in the inside with crispy thin surface crust. It'd be nice if I could bake, heheh but I don't even have an oven at home lol. Went for ice cream at Island Creamery after dinner, 'teh tarik' flavor for me! Realized that I like all tea-flavoured ice cream, earl grey and green tea ice cream are my favvv. ;D

Steamboat dinner @ Peishan's on friday! It was fun shopping for the ingredients with eunice and lianquan before the rest joined us after they ended school! Absolutely love steamboats at home, cheap and so much fun. :D The only sad thing is that I mistook beehoon for tanghoon and bought wrongly, sigh :'( hahaha. and we had way too much food couldn't even finish! Played some cards after the meal lol and my luck was super good (but we didn't gamble). and then we just sat around and talked, so good catching up with the rest. had so much fun and left her house late, reached back home past 12mn heheh and so so exhausted. Almost felt like dying when I had to wake up at 7 plus today for photoshop training at school in the morning lol.
